"Mr. Malhotra we understand your situation but you need to keep some patience. The Police team has already started the work. All the highways going out of Mumbai are blocked. Not a single vehicle can go out of Mumbai without police checking. Your daughter will be found very soon. We assure you" the ADGP of Mumbai, Jaidev Pathak, a 46 year old man stood in front of Raghuveer in the Malhotra mansion.
Behind ADGP stood SSP Viraj Sharma, a 30 year old man who was connected to his team via walkie talkie staying upgraded about the situation.
Jaidev tried to assure Raghuveer who was on the verge of tears but was holding himself together. He was trying to stay strong but the thought of his daughter being out somewhere in the danger was crumbling down his strength every passing minute.
Two hours ago when he had left the business party, an uneasy feeling had settled in his stomach as he sat on the back seat of the car. The driver drove him towards the Malhotra mansion while raghuveer was starting to feel more restless with each passing second.
A thought to call rooh crossed his mind but noticing the time he chose otherwise thinking she must be sleeping and he would just disturb her sleep or might worry her as well. The second he entered the house the first thing he did was to go towards her room. He wanted to check on her once to remove that uneasy feeling which he knew was there because of his daughter only.
Even if that feeling was not there still he would've checked on her. She was his utmost precious gift, the gift that the love of his life had blessed him with.
The door of her room was unlocked which she had kept unlocked knowing her father would want to check on her once when he comes back. A smile came on his face admiring the thoughtfulness of his daughter.
Pushing the door slightly open he peeped inside thinking to go out from the door itself if she was sleeping. The room was dark which was so unusual of her.
Rooh couldn't sleep in the dark.
The uneasy feeling in his stomach grew further making him push the door wide open. Turning on the lights he looked towards her bed only to find it empty.
A look of shock crossed his features before panic surged through him as he looked around before moving towards the washroom.
"rooh? beta andar hai kya tu?" his voice was filled with urgency as he knocked on the washroom door but the utmost silence in the washroom made him open the door.
(Rooh, are you inside the washroom, child?)
She was not there.
Taking out his mobile he was about to call her when her mobile kept on the bed took his attention. Holding her mobile in his hand he was about to move out of the room but another unusual thing caught his attention. Turning around he looked at the open door of the balcony.
Gripping both the mobiles in his hands he moved towards the balcony and stepped out of the door. His heart was beating fast with the worry as he looked down from her balcony.
Her room was on the first floor, a small garden of her choice filled with her favourite white tulip flowers adorning the region beneath her balcony. Only a swing was kept near the boundary wall of the mansion which was attached with the small garden of hers.
Moving his gaze to a little distance he looked at the vehicles running on the road. His heart was gripped with fear as his mind started to make the possibilities of the situation.
Rushing inside he called out his mother while dialing some numbers on his mobile. Raghuveer checked the whole house but didn't find his daughter anywhere. The guards standing on the gate were called inside.
"Sir, humne toh kisi ko bhi bahr jaate nhi dekha. Hum toh saara time gate par hi the" the four of the guards were totally unaware of the activity that had happened with them present on their duty for the whole time.
(Sir we didn't see anyone going out. We were standing on the gate guarding whole time)
Raghuveer was a simple businessman carrying his business with honesty. He didn't have any rivalry with anyone because he wasn't in a race to compete with anyone. He was running his business smoothly, gaining enough to give a comfortable life with all the luxury to his family.
He doesn't have a mindset of gaining as much as he can, from anywhere he can, by any means he can, that greed was not there in him, in his mindset. He wanted to make a life which could be stressfree, a life in which he and his family could sleep peacefully without having a weight of any kind of guilt. A guilt of doing bad to someone just to gain something.
The Malhotra industries was a well established name in the business world but they never competed in the line to become number 1. The Malhotra's were happy in gaining sufficient and living a meaningful life with peaceful nights.
Raghuveer having no rivalry with anyone always made him believe that his family was far away from danger a business family could face. He didn't have an army of hundreds of bodyguards to guard his mansion like any big businessman would have. They were living a comfortable life enjoying some freedom in their lives.
Tonight for the first time raghuveer felt that he had made a mistake by thinking that his family was far away from danger. He was wrong.
"tum logon ne dekha nhi bahr jaate hue toh rooh gyi kahan? ghar mein nhi hai bahr jaate hue tumne nhi dekha toh phir kahan chli gyi?" Raghuveer burst out on the guards making them bow their heads down as they didn't have any answers to his questions.
(If you didn't see her going out then where did she go? She is not in the house, you didn't see her going out, then where did she go? Where?)
"raghuveer, kuchh bhi kar meri bachi ko dhund ke le ke aa jahan marzi se. pta nhi kahan hogi rooh, kaisi hogi, kuchh pta nhi" kalyani sat on the couch while tears rolled down her eyes as she looked at her son helplessly.
(Raghuveer, do anything but bring my child back from anywhere. I don't know where is she? How is she? We know nothing)
"maa, commissioner ko phone kiya hai, aap tention mat lo. humari rooh jaldi hi mil jayegi" raghuveer tried to give strength to his mother though he himself was trying hard not break down. Pacing in the room restlessly he had waited impatiently for the police commissioner.
"I can't keep patience commissioner. My daughter got kidnapped from my own house. I don't know where she is. How can you expect me to stay calm? Do anything commissioner, I need my daughter back before this night ends" raghuveer demanded, his voice raising with helplessness and frustration.
"Don't worry sir, our team is working hard to find your daughter. She will be
here soon" Viraj assured him before moving out of the mansion.
Pulling a shirt out of the wardrobe, Adhvay was about to put it on when his phone started to ring taking his attention. Throwing his shirt on the bed he looked at the caller I'd before taking the mobile in his hand.
"haan Rana?" adhvay answered, his voice devoid of any emotions.
(Yes Rana?)
"Bhai, abhi aap jahan bhi ho wahin raho, pure shehar mein police ne nakabandi kar di hai vo raghuveer ki beti ko dhundne ke liye. Har jagah police khadi hai, mahol boht tight ho rakha hai bhai. abhi aap uss ladki ko le kar bahr nikle toh boht bdi dikkat ho jayegi. Panga ye ho gya hai ke vo police commissioner Jaidev Pathak ye case dekh raha hai. Vo to sala pehle hi aapse itni nafrat karta hai, usko toh ek moka hi chahiye aapko jail mein daalne ka, puri khundak nikalega agar usse pta chal gya" rana informed him making him clench his fist out of frustration.
(Brother, right now just stay wherever you are. Police has blocked all the ways in the city, there is police everywhere trying to find raghuveer's daughter. The situation is very tight here. If you go out with her right now, you can get into trouble. The main problem is that Jaidev Pathak, the police commissioner is in charge of this case. He already hates you so much. He just needs a chance to put you behind the bars. If he got to know that you are behind this, he will definitely take out his grudge on you)
"Rana, maine tujhe kya karne ko bola tha? tune uss Kapoor ko bola ya nhi?" Adhvay ignored his information and came on the point that he wanted to know.
(Rana, what did I tell you to do? Did you speak to Kapoor or not?)
"Bhai, 10 calls kar liye hain. Pta ni kahan hai vo, harami saala phone hi nhi utha raha hai" rana informed, anger was visible in his voice.
(Brother, I've called him at least ten times. I don't know where is he. That bastard is not picking up the calls)
"Mujhe bhej uska number" Adhvay demanded before hanging up the call. Within a second his mobile was pinged with a message. Opening the message he dialed the number directly.
There was no response from the other side. Anger started to rush in his veins. He couldn't tolerate such behaviour from anyone, ever. He works for people in return of money but that doesn't mean he would take ignorance from anyone.
Cursing him Adhvay threw his mobile on the bed. Running his fingers through his hair he started to pace in the room trying to make a decision of what he should do next.
Jaidev handling this case could prove challenging to Adhvay. Jaidev has been always looking for just one proof to prove his crimes so he could put him behind the bars. Adhvay wasn't afraid of Jaidev but the time was not right to get into a clash with him.
Rubbing his forehead with his thumb and forefinger he closed his eyes. Before his mind could start thinking about his next move, her moist eyes flashed in front of him making him open his eyes.
He had kept her locked in the room. A sudden urge to check on her once surged through him. He didn't go back even once to ensure if she was alright.
He needed to see her once.
Running his hand through his hair he walked out of the room while still being shirtless. The lower hanging low on his waist while his hair were still wet to some point which made them look messy. His habit of running his hand in his hair only adds to his messy look.
Reaching in the front of the door of her room he took a deep breath to keep himself calm. Unlocking the door he pushed it open and stepped inside.
In the middle of the room rooh was laid on the floor, her legs were curled up to her chest, her hands folded against her chest, her eyes closed, tear stains visible on her pale cheeks, her hair was a mess. The slight tremble in her body every second was visible.
Taking in her condition he stood rooted on the door. The corner of his eyes turned red, his jaw clenched, his fingers curled into fists on each side of him, a layer of some emotion flickered in his eyes as he stared at her helpless form.
Guilt.
Guilt flashed in his eyes, the feeling his heart felt in that moment was reflecting in his eyes.
Regret.
He regreted treating her the way he did. According to the information, her father was corrupt, he was the one trying to make money out of someone's helplessness not her. She wasn't responsible for her father's deeds.
Adhvay didn't cross check the information. He never did. That was not his work to do. The one who needs him for his work, it is his responsibility. He needs to be truthful to Adhvay and not lie about even a bit of the information. Because everyone knows that Adhvay hates lies. So nobody dares to trick him to get their work done. If someone did, he would have to lose his life.
Looking at her he regretted his every action. He shouldn't have agreed to this work on the first place. Since the moment he has taken this work, nothings felt right to him. His every step, his every move felt wrong to him.
His mind which could give him logical answers to all his questions, which could make him understand that it was his work, it was meant to be this way always. He has worked this way all his life.
To help someone in return of money with a principal of his own that the other person should not be an innocent one. Only the corrupt one who truly needed to be treated by him should be there on the other side.
But that logical mind of his was in a complete mess because of her presence around him. His mind was engulfed with her thoughts to work on anything else.
Taking a step towards her he let his gaze linger on her face. Her closed eyes made him question the situation. Was she sleeping? Or she was unconscious?
The thought of her being unconscious made him move towards her with his steps firm, deliberate. Reaching in front of her he kneeled down in front of her.
The tear stains visible on her cheeks really bothered him. He was the reason behind them. He made her cry.
His eyes lingered down on her form making him notice that she was shivering slightly. The cold floor beneath her must have made her uncomfortable and feel cold.
He needed to make her lay on the bed. Moving his hand closer he held her shoulders pulling her a little up before slipping his one arm behind her back while his other arm wrapped around her arms.
Holding her in his arms he pulled her up standing up while his move made her stir a little, the expressions on her face explaining her little want to whine because of the sudden movement.
His gaze was fixed on her face noticing her every movement. The outer region of her closed eyes looked swollen. Her little nose was red. Her cheeks had a tint of redness.
Opening her eyes she looked at him, her eyes looked small because of the crying session she had done. A look of
confusion flashed in her eyes before the situation made sense in her mind making her eyes widen as she looked at him.
His eyes were locked into hers observing every emotion that flashed in her eyes. Her eyes glanced around making her realise that she was in his arms. Her body started to wriggle in his hold trying to get down.
He kept looking at her letting her make her efforts which couldn't move his giant figure even an inch. Her soft palms reached up to his bare chest as she pressed her palms against his chest to push him away and get out of his hold.
Her soft palms pressing against his bare chest made him clench his jaw. A rush of emotions surged through him, his gaze darkened for a moment before it was gone.
"chhoro mujhe" her meak voice came out as she moved her legs along with her hands to free herself from his hold and stand on her feet.
(Leave me)
"chhor dunga par agar lag gyi toh mujhe mat bolna" his deep voice rumbled through his chest making her movements stop as she felt a shiver run down her spine with the intensity his voice held.
(I'll leave but don't come upon me if you get hurt)
Her gaze moved up to his face, their eyes connected again. His sharp gaze boring down into hers with the intensity that made her breath hitch in her throat.
"ch..chhoro" the stutter in her voice explained her nervousness that she had felt with his intimidating gaze. Her voice came out so low that if his complete attention wasn't on her he might have missed it.
(l..leave)
"as you say" his gaze was intense, his lips curled into a smirk, his voice intimidating taking her breath away as she looked at him with her eyes reflecting the same innocence that she carries in her heart.
Keeping his gaze locked with hers he loosened his arms a bit which were wrapped around hers and in an abrupt moment leaned a bit down portraying the moment as if he was throwing her down.
"oieeeee" she squealed shutting her eyes close while her one hand instantly wrapped around his neck as she anticipated her fall while her other hand trying to grasp on something got a hold of his chest, her nails digging into his bare chest. Her face moved closer to his chest hiding herself into him as she tried to save herself from the fall.
His heart pounded in his chest, blood rushing down to his body, the racing beats of his heart thudding against his chest where her cheek was touching his bare chest as she tried to hide herself into him, her nails digging in his chest evoking a feeling in him that made his blood run cold. Her uneven breaths falling on his chest made him close his eyes.
He clenched his jaw, his hold around her body tightening as he held her closer to himself, his embrace protective for her.
Opening his eyes he looked down at her. Her face was hidden in his chest but he could see that her eyes were closed. The closeness, her face hidden in his chest, her nails digging in his skin, her other arm wrapped around his neck, he was losing his control.
Taking a deep breath he walked towards the bed. Leaning down he made her sit on the bed, his movements gentle and deliberate. Her hand wrapped around his neck loosened as her body touched the mattress making her open her eyes.
Looking at him she found his gaze already on her as he made her lay on the bed with his one arm beneath her neck. Her mind seemed hypnotized in that moment as she let him lay her on the bed, her body leaning back touching the mattress as if she wasn't in a kidnapper's house but her own.
His gaze observing her keenly understanding her every little movement, every emotion that flickered in her eyes even though he couldn't understand his own emotions but what she felt, what she thought, it was visible to him as if only he was meant to understand them.
His heart felt an urge to wrap his arms around her, to hide her into his embrace. An urge so intimate that his body felt a shiver running down his spine with the anticipation of the moment.
Their minds were unable to work in that moment, letting them lose in the moment their hearts were yearning for. Time seemed to stop for them, their minds seemed stopped to them, only their hearts were active, yearning to meet their other part.
His knee rested on the mattress beside her, his one hand moving to the bed beside her body as he leaned down keeping his weight to himself.
Her heart pounded in her chest, her heart beating so much that they both could hear her heart beat. But it was not only her. His own heart was thudding against his chest, his heart beats complementing hers as they were beating in rhythm.
Leaning down his face moved closer to hers. Her hand that was resting on his shoulder loosely was now slipping down with a slow movement, her fingers trembling as they stopped at his bicep. The soft touch of her hand on his bare arm was making him clench his jaw because of the rush of emotions surging in his body.
His one hand moved to her face, his thumb closer to her cheek while their eyes were locked into each other. His thumb brushed against her cheek with the softest touch he didn't know he could have. Her lips parted slightly as she felt her breath getting stuck in her throat under the spell of his slightest touch.
His thumb traced her cheek with a feather light touch brushing down to her jaw making her eyes shut feeling the intensity of the moment.
His face leaned closer to hers letting them feel each other's uneven breathes. His nose touched her cheek making her fingers wrap around his big bicep of which her hand couldn't cover even the half part. His nose traced her cheek while her lips parted to take in a much needed breath, her other hand moving forward to hold his other arm as well.
His eyes got closed as his lips brushed against her jaw with the slight touch not touching her skin completely but the slightest touch of his lips on her skin made her toes curl as her fingers digged in his bicep scratching his skin.
"mhm" a sound so vulnerable, just like a mere whisper carrying the weight of unsaid emotions, the hidden layers of feelings growing in the depths of hearts left her parted lips making him freeze.
His movements stopped as he opened his eyes, his face moved a bit back as he looked at her. Her eyes were closed, her lips were parted with a slight tremble in them, her cheeks turning a shade of red under the effect of his touch. His gaze moved to her hands observing how her fingers were gripping his biceps, her nails digging in his skin as she was trying to hold onto him feeling herself too weak to handle herself.
The vulnerability, the delicacy of her in that moment shook him with the realisation. The realisation of what he was about to do. The mess she was in at that moment was because of how vulnerable she let herself be in front of him making him realise where this was going.
The heart beats of hers which he heard racing just like his own a moment ago, the uneven breathes of them loosening them into the moment, her letting herself lost in the moment just like he did.
It was not just him feeling things, it was her too. It was them.
The gravity of the situation where things were leading into, it would only ruin her taking away everything from her, leaving her with nothing.
His fingers curled into fists as he clenched his jaw feeling a wave of anger hitting his nerves.
The anger he felt was for himself, for not keeping a control on himself. For letting that moment come into an existence which could lead her into something he didn't want.
His hand moved to her hold on his arm as he held her fingers loosing her grip on his arm which made her open her eyes. Her gaze moved to him who chose to not meet her eyes while he slowly slipped her hand away from her arm.
Her eyes followed his hand movement, a look of confusion flashing in her eyes before her mind grasped the moment that just happened between them. Her eyes widened in shock, her other hand on his arm moving back hastily as she felt her heart pounding in her chest with the realisation of the moment they shared.
Getting up Adhvay ran his hands through his hair as he didn't make eye contact with her while she looked at him with her eyes flickering with emotions she herself couldn't understand.
"If you wanted to sleep, you've had got the whole bed to yourself. neeche kyun so rahi thi? kidnap hui ho toh sach mein kidnap hone ki feeling lene lg gyi thi kya?" Adhvay looked at her, a smirk tugging at his lips, a desperate attempt to hide behind that smirk every feeling that he was feeling in that moment, his tone was rude, a little sharp.
To hurt her.
(If you wanted to sleep, you've had got the whole bed to yourself. Why were you sleeping on the floor? You are kidnapped so were you trying to actually experience the feeling of being kidnapped?)
His words did their work just the way he wanted. His words brought her back into reality that she was kidnapped by him. That she was trapped in his place by him caging her in a locked room.
Instead of thinking about her escape she was thinking about him. The realisation hit her hard making her eyes well up. The reality of the situation made her heart feel heavy.
The things she was feeling were confusing her making her feel so weak. The helplessness of not being able to understand why she was doing what she did made her want to cry so bad.
She needed to go to her father, her grandmother. Only then she could think straight and get rid of this helplessness. She will not let him keep her caged there. Not anymore. She wilm run out of there to her home.
Standing beside her he had his gaze fixed on her only noticing her expressions. The moistness in her eyes making his heart ache but he chose not to react.
With a new surge determination in her heart she climbed down the bed and in an abrupt moment she ran towards the door dashing out of the room as if she was being chased by some mad bull.
Standing rooted to his place he witnessed the most funny run of his life. His eyes flickered with a look of surprise for a second before it was gone. Rubbing his hand on his face he took a deep breath before moving out of the room.
Standing on the staircase with his arms crossed against his bare chest, he looked down in the living room. She was trying to pull the main door with all her strength as if her little strength could make the locked door open.
He kept noticing her letting her take her time and make as much efforts as she could. Once she got tired, her shoulders slumped down in disappointment.
Adhvay stepped down the stairs while his foot steps took her attention making her look towards the stairs. He was looking at her only while she looked at him once before looking around trying to find something.
The second he stepped on the last stair she sprinted off to the kitchen bringing an amusing look on his face before he masked it up behind his cold rude self.
Rooh came out of the kitchen with a knife in her hand. Her eyes narrowed as she was trying to glare at him, her hold on the knife confident than the last time.
Adhvay noticed the knife in her hand and closing his eyes he rubbed the bridge of his nose.
Again.
A knife ? Was she serious? Last time the knife did not help her even a bit because she could not use it to her defence.
"dekho, mujhe jaane do. mujhe apne ghar jana hai. darwaza kholo jldi se" she pointed the knife towards him standing what felt like a kilometre away from him, her posture stiff though she tried hard to keep her voice confident.
(Look, let me go. I want to go home. Open the door, fast)
Adhvay fixed his gaze on her as he took a step towards her making her gulp down her breath as she tried not to move back and stay confident in her posture.
He walked towards her with his steps firm and deliberate. Her eyes lingered on him as she looked at him. The stubble on his jaw, the broad muscular bare well built hard chest, his strong biceps, his lower hanging low on his waist, she felt her breath stuck in her throat as he moved towards her.
He noticed her checking him out.
His footsteps came closer making her look at him. His eyes were fixed on her only making her take a step back as she felt her confidence breaking with his every step moving closer to her.
"d-dekho mein aap ko bol rahi hun. darwaza khol do, mein sachi mein chaaku chala dungi" her voice stuttered as she tried to threaten him while taking another step back.
(L-look I am telling you. Open the door or else I will hurt you with this knife)
Taking one more firm step he stood just in front of her. His tall frame with 6'2" height towering over her 5'3"frame making her feel caged against his broad structure.
She tried to take a step back while keeping the knife pointed towards him but before she could make a move his fingers curled around her wrist of the hand with knife pulling her to himself. His other hand slipped around her waist as he pulled her closer, her eyes flickering to look between both his eyes with the sudden move. Her other hand came up to hold onto his bicep, him pulling her flesh against himself made her stand on her toes barely touching the floor.
His eyes were locked into hers as his fingers left her wrist slowly brushing on her hand making her breaths go heavy. Wrapping his fingers around the knife he slowly pulled it out of her hand making her look towards their hands and then back at him with a look in her eyes that screamed innocence.
"zindagi mein kabhi chaaku hath mein pakad kar bhi dekha hai? ek fruit bhi kata hai iss chaaku se jisse mujhe dra rahi ho?" his gaze was intense, his voice low and deliberate.
(Have you ever held a knife in your hand? Ever used a knife to even cut a fruit with which you are trying to scare me?)
Her heart was beating fast with the closeness they were sharing making her give him a small nod like a lost kid.
The innocence with which she was looking at him made him want to hide her into his embrace. The thought was so intimate that it made his heart race with anticipation leading to his hold around her waist tightening as he pulled her flesh further into himself letting their chests press against each other.
Her breath hitched with the proximity while her hand gripped onto his bicep as she felt herself going weak in her knees. Her body was loosened against his own making him observe her situation as he held her tight in his hold.
Everytime they come closer, the world around them fades away making them lose their senses in the moment. Their closeness makes them forget their situation, the reason which brought them in this situation.
"achha? kab?" he questioned, his breath fanning her face making her breaths heavy.
(Really? When?)
"k-kabhi kabhi ek watermelon aur chaaku kitchen mein se utha kar papa ke paas le jati hun ki kaat kar dedo" she revealed making him look at her intently. The way she told him felt so domestic to him making him feel as if he wanted to hear more of such talks from her.
(s-sometimes I take a watermelon and a knife from kitchen to my papa and ask him to chop it for me)
"tumhe watermelon kaatna nhi aata?" he asked keeping the conversation going. A part of his felt like keep talking to her about anything.
(You don't know how to chop a watermelon?)
"mujh se kaata ni jata vo boht bda hota hai na" she didn't feel like she was talking to her kidnapper. The comfort in that moment felt so natural to them.
(I can't chop it because it is such a big fruit)
"hmm so ye tumhara use hai chaaku ka? kitchen se utha kar papa ke pass le ke jana?" his eyes were locked into hers as he demanded another answer while she kept looking at him innocently while answering his every question with honesty.
(So this is how you use a knife? To take it from the kitchen and give it to papa?)
She nodded at him agreeing to his statement. Holding the knife in his one hand he moved it closer to her face making her eyes widen. Placing the knife under her chin making sure it doesn't hurt her, he pulled her face up making her tilt her head back as she looked into his eyes.
"Next time if you want to scare me try something else. This knife won't work. Alright?" his voice was commanding which made her nod at him even before her mind could process his words.
The command in his tone made her submit to his demand. Her submission made him realise how each moment when they are together, a sense of belonging was growing in his heart.
The same sense of belonging which she has felt with him. Her being in his arms doesn't make her uncomfortable, it makes her feel belonged.
It was strange that they had met just two days ago and they couldn't forget each other since that moment. The things that they have started to feel for each other, it was growing deeper with each passing moment.
He gazed into her eyes, her eyes were reflecting the same feeling, that belongingness he has felt with her. The way she was looking at him, her eyes were speaking their own language which only he could understand.
Whatever she was feeling in her heart was visible in her eyes. What made his heart beats faster was that he was able to read her eyes but what bothered him was what her eyes were telling him.
He was doing it again. He was pulling her into something which would fill her life with darkness. She wasn't aware of that but he was.
She didn't know what she was getting herself into but he knew very well where it would lead her life. How could he do this to her? Why wasn't he pushing her away not to let her fall into something she shouldn't.
She didn't know anything but he was aware of his reality. Then why was it so difficult to stay away from her? His mind was screaming at him, the questions triggering him so bad that his jaw clenched as those questions played in his mind on loop making him want to smash himself into something.
Averting his gaze from her he loosened his hold around her waist pushing her slightly while he himself took a step back throwing the knife on the floor making her flinch back.
He needs to stay away from her. He needs to keep her away from himself. But their presence in the same house couldn't make it possible. He has understood it now.
The fight between what he wanted and what he should do was building up frustration in him. His feelings were so messed up between right and wrong that it triggered his anger really bad this time making him gritt his teeth as he clenched his fist.
"You want to go. Right?" his voice was laced with anger while he looked at her with his sharp gaze. A tint of redness was there at the corner of his brown eyes.
The sudden change in his demeanor made her voice stuck in her throat as she nodded at him unsure of her movement.
"Okay, come with me" taking a step forward he held her hand and moved towards the door making her follow him trying to match his long steps but failing miserably.
Adhvay unlocked the door and pulling the handles opened the large door making her eyes widen that he actually opened the door. Something that she wasn't expecting at all.
"Go, jahan jaana hai jao. Just leave" he took a step aside and gestured her towards the door. His tone was still laced with anger as he spoke with his jaw clenched.
(Go, Go wherever you want to go. Just leave)
She looked at the door blankly not understanding what she should do. This was something she wanted, she wanted him to open the door so she could leave and now when he opened the door she was unsure because of his anger.
But this was her chance. She could run away from this place and meet her family. They must be so worried for her, her father must be making every possible effort to find her. Her grandmother must be crying for her. She needed to go back to them. He was giving her a chance to go and she should grab it without thinking anything else.
With that thought she stepped towards the door. Her movement was slow, little unsure but she chose to go. He kept looking at her with his sharp gaze as she came closer to him.
Stopping in front of him she looked into his eyes while he stood rooted to his place, his fingers curled up into fists.
"T-thank you?" her voice came out low, an unsure whisper. His eyes locked into hers, both of them unsure about the moment before he averted his gaze not wanting to lose control of himself.
Seeing him averting his gaze made her feel an uneasy feeling in her stomach but she chose to ignore that as she moved out of the door.
The moment she stepped out of his house he moved inside leaving the door open. His fist colliding with the neadby wall as he gritted his teeth.
"How it is so difficult for you to keep the damn control on yourself, Adhvay?" he growled cursing himself for letting the things go even this far where it was starting to hurt.
"You have been alone all your life. This is how it is since always. Then why do you want to change it now? Why do you want to ruin her like you yourself are? Just why?" he growled, a thin layer of pain reflecting in his tone this time.
The pain that he has kept to himself since always. The pain he has lived with all his life. That pain flashed in his eyes in that moment before he buried it inside again.
"usse nhi pta mein kon hun par mujhe toh pta hai. phir bhi kyun uske paas chla jata hun baar baar. Just stop it Adhvay!!!!" he punched the wall again letting out what he was feeling inside.
(She doesn't know who I am but I know it. Then why do I keep going close to her again and again. Just stop it Adhvay!!!!)
"I am a different person around her. She is changing me. I can feel it. I can't let it happen. I can't" his head rested against the wall as he mumbled to himself. His voice was low, weighed with emotions he was not able to deal with.
He couldn't let this change happen.
