PART 6

Stepping out of the main door rooh glanced around with urgency. Her eyes were expressing discomfort as the porch was illuminated with dim lights. The lights were enough to make her way to the large iron gate visible but not enough to give her confidence to move out of that gate.

She glanced back at the open door, her mind rethinking about her decision to go out alone. She didn't know why did he kidnap her. He didn't tell her the reason even once. She knew nothing about him in actual. He had kidnapped her yet she felt more safe with him than going out alone in the dark.

She has always been afraid of the darkness even when in her home. The darkness makes her feel suffocated as if she cannot breath in the dark. She needs enough brightness that can make things around her visible enough for her to see.

Closing her eyes shut she chose to pause her thoughts thinking she couldn't step back because of her fear. Her family must be so worried for her. She needed to go back to them, the fear of darkness should not be the reason for her to lose this chance.

Taking a deep breathe she walked towards the main gate. Her heart was beating fast with every step she took towards the gate. Stopping in front of the gate she noticed that it wasn't locked. Her hands trembled as she slowly opened the gate and stepped out of the cottage.

Her eyes moved around with urgency expecting to see some road outside but her eyes narrowed in confusion as she glanced around. The dim lights of the porch couldn't illuminate the region outside the cottage but the moonlight making its way through the big trees did help her to notice that there was no road, no highway ahead as she had expected rather it were big trees all around her.

"ye konsi jagah hai?" she mumbled to herself as she glanced around unsure. Her voice was laced with restlessness, a feeling that grew in her stomach seeing the unfamiliar place in front of her.

(What is this place?)

"yahan toh koi road hi nhi hai" her voice was low, a mere whisper as she took a step back unable to comprehend the place. Her mind went blank to make a decision if she should go ahead and find a way out or she should wait for the sunrise.

(There is no road ahead)

She hadn't apprehended it yet that she was in the middle of the forest but the dark silence spread throughout the region, the large trees seemed as if there was someone staring right into her soul, a feeling so creepy that it made her skin feel goosebumps out of the fear.

Keeping his forehead attached to the wall Adhvay took deep breaths to calm himself down. His heart was pounding in his chest under the weight of emotions that were making him feel weak. The growing feelings in his heart that he didn't want to acknowledge, the fear of acceptance gripping his heart knowing where it would lead him to.

Opening his eyes he turned around running his hand through his hair. His eyes moving around in the living room only to stop at the knife that was on the floor.

The knife. The sudden realisation of her being out in the forest in the middle of the night hit him in the nerves. He was so triggered by his thoughts that he didn't realise he sent her out when they were in the forest. He let her go out in danger because he himself wasn't able to deal with his emotions.

"Damn it!!" he growled in frustration before rushing out towards the door. He walked out of the main door towards the gate only to find it open giving him a confirmation that she was gone out.

"I hope she hasn't gone too far" Adhvay hoped to himself as he rushed towards the gate stepping out in hurry. Before he could take another step forward her petite form slammed against him making him wrap his arm around her waist in reaction holding her stable against himself.

Her hands rested on his bare chest as she lifted her face up to look at him. His eyes moved down to her face looking into her eyes. Her eyes were holding fear which soon faded away as she looked into his eyes. Her fear was replaced with a sense of protection in his presence.

His heart pounded in his chest as he read her eyes understanding that she felt safe in his presence. Her shoulders moved down in relief, a deep breath leaving her lips explaining her struggle with fear she had gone through in the last few minutes.

He noticed her body movement understanding that she got scared out there in the darkness, the unknown place she was at. He cursed himself in his mind for letting her go out without giving a thought about the situation. What if she had gone far away in the forest and got herself in trouble?

Her being out in the forest, getting herself in trouble. The thought bothered him to a point that the restlessness grew in his stomach. It didn't happen in real but the mere thought of something as such happening made him want to hold her close, away from any kind of danger she could possibly face.

"andar chalo" taking a step back he loosened his hold around her waist letting go of her as gestured with his hand towards the gate while keeping his gaze fixed on her.

(Come inside)

She looked at the gate before turning her eyes back to him. He wanted her to go inside with him but she couldn't just do the same. She wanted to go home. She couldn't let this chance slip away.

"mein andar nhi jaungi. mujhe ghar jana hai" she shook her head taking a step back. Her voice was low, her words were demanding.

(I'll not go inside. I want to go home)

His gaze was sharp as he looked at her. He himself wanted to drop her back to her home. He needed to send her away from himself but he couldn't do that when there was a flood of police scattered on the roads of Mumbai to find her.

"I gave you a chance to go. It was your first and last chance but you missed it.  So let's go inside now" his voice was calm, his gaze was unreadable making it difficult for her to understand him at that moment.

"no, I will not go inside. mujhe nhi pta hai ye konsi jagah hai, mein yahan se ghar kaise jaun? I missed it because I couldn't find a way out of here" she voiced out her reason, her voice was little confident this time as she looked at him with her eyes questioning.

(No, I will not go inside. I don't know what is this place. How do I go to home from here? I missed it because I couldn't find a way out of here)

"That is not my concern. You are going inside with me. Right now" he took a step forward making her take a step back as she looked at him with her eyes holding questions only he could answer but he wouldn't.

"mujhe nhi aana andar. aap mujhe highway tak chhor do. mein wahan se khud ghar chali jaungi. mera chance highway se start hona chahiye. wahan se hi mujhe rasta samjh aayega" she looked at him with innocence flashing in her eyes and so in her words as she kept her thoughts in front of him.

(I don't want to go inside. Drop me to the highway. I'll go to my home from there myself. My chance should start from the highway. I would understand my way home from there only)

His eyes locked with hers as he observed that innocence in her eyes. The innocence he couldn't forget since the day they met. The innocence that made him think about her every minute, every second of the night. The innocence that made him dream about her eyes in his sleep.

Averting his gaze he closed his eyes realising that he was making the same mistake again. He was letting himself lose in the moment only to regret it later. He could not let his emotions make his decisions. He couldn't let himself fall weak in front of that undeniable pull he feels towards her.

Taking a step forward he stood just in front of her towering over her making her tilt her face up as she looked at him with her heart pounding in her chest.

"What makes you think that I would do whatever you say?" his hand slipped behind her neck as he pulled her face up closer making her stand on her toes, her hands resting on his chest to balance herself. His hold was firm yet gentle not hurting her but intimidating enough to make her breath hitch in her throat.

"I...I want to go home" she managed to voice out though her voice came out low, confidence leaving her demeanor but hope still lingered in her eyes.

His gaze was fixed with hers, the hope reflecting in her eyes tugged at a string in his heart, making him realise that she still hoped on him, she still trusted him to help her, to let her go.

Her feeling relieved in his presence, her feeling protected in his embrace, her hoping onto him, her trusting him to help her, it bothered his heart, a piece of his that didn't want to let go of the denial it was holding onto.

He wants her to be afraid of him but the mere thought of her feeling scared of him bothers him.

He wants her not to trust him but the thought of her not trusting him tugs at his heart, an unknown ache hold his heart.

He wants her to stay away from him but the mere thought of her going away from him leaves him restless.

The reality of his, the identity who he was doesn't let him go into the depth of those feelings his heart has grown for her, not to ruin her.

He was so messed up in his mind, restlessness in his heart.

She shouldn't trust him. She shouldn't hope that he would help her. She shouldn't feel protected in his embrace. She needs to be afraid of him. She needs to stay away from him. He seriously needs to make her pull herself away from him. He needs to make her want to run away from him.

He couldn't be selfish. He couldn't let her enter into his world.

"Just shut up! You are not going anywhere until I let you go" gritting his teeth he breathed out looking into her eyes, his tone was sharp, his eyes having a tint of redness in the corners.

She looked at him with her eyes starting to brim with tears now. His behaviour was confusing her making her feel frustrated inside. She couldn't understand what he actually wanted. She couldn't understand what she herself wanted.

The feelings she has in her heart grown for him, she was unable to decipher them. His behaviour was messing up with her mind as well as her feelings making her question herself as why she was trusting him, hoping that he would help her.

Why doesn't she stop him when he comes close to her? Why does she feel protected when he holds her closer? Why does she not feel uncomfortable when he touches her? Why does she feel that pull towards him that makes her forget the world around her?

He was her kidnapper. She should be scared of him. She should hate him but she doesn't. Why doesn't she hate him? Why doesn't she fight him to let her go? Why does she feel so weak to push him away?

The helplessness of being unable to understand her feelings, unable to comprehend her thoughts was starting to take a toll on her mind making her feel heavy in her heart.

She felt her crying, crying in silence and let the weight she was feeling in heart go away with those tears. She really wanted to go to her family so she didn't have to go through what she was going through at that moment.

A layer of tears rolled down her eyes as she looked at him with her expressing her every emotion like an open book to him. Him gazing into her eyes made him understand her feelings like only he was meant to comprehend them, to understand them.

Her eyes expressed exactly what he was bothered about. He kept gazing in her tears letting her emotions sink in only to feel an ache in his heart.

The frustration that she felt in that moment made her press her palms against his chest and push him with all her might. He chose to take a step back letting her push him away.

"I will not go inside. I want to go home. Why don't you understand? Why did you kidnap me? Why are you keeping me here? You don't give me any answers. I want to know. I want to know why did you kidnap me?" she screamed at him, her voice was loud, breaking at the end.

Her eyes were turned red with tears flowing down her eyes. She was crying in anger. She always does that.

Adhvay listened to her quietly keeping his gaze fixed on her. She was in distress but he couldn't do anything. She pushed him away, something he himself wanted. Now he couldn't go close to her again and ruin things for her, for himself, for them.

Her feeling angry towards him would do good for both of them. He wanted to keep it this way now. He just needed to push her a little more to make her distance herself from him completely.

Taking a step forward he held her wrist firmly pulling her closer. His other hand slipped behind her neck again as he tilted her face up to make her look into his eyes.

"Don't force me to behave like an actual kidnapper would do. I am being easy on you. It doesn't mean that I can't hurt you. So stop screaming at me and come inside" gritting his teeth he breathed weighing on every word to make it clear in her head while their eyes were locked into each other.

Her eyes searched his eyes in desperation to confirm if he meant what he just said. Another layer of tears rolled down her eyes as his words rang in her mind. Before she could read his eyes like he does, he left her neck pushing her slightly before his grip on her wrist tightened as he dragged her towards the gate.

"kya kar rahe hain aap? maine bola na mein nhi jaungi andar, mujhe apne ghar jana hai" she tried to move his hand from her wrist, tears rolling down her eyes making her vision blur while Adhvay ignored her plea as he dragged her inside.

(What are you doing? I told you that I will not go inside. I want to go home)

Stepping inside the main door he walked towards the stairs while she tried to match his long steps as she felt herself literally being dragged by him.

He started walking upstairs while her being unable to match his steps made her trip on one of the stairs. Her knee collided with the stair making her stop in her steps while Adhvay turned around to yell at her but his expressions changed the second he saw her in an uncomfortable position.

"what happened?" leaving her wrist he bent down in front of her seeing her holding her knee. His voice held urgency, his tone was soft, a kind she hadn't heard from him until now.

"why do you care?" she looked away refusing to meet his eyes, her voice was laced with anger, a hint of frustration in her tone.

Her words made him realise what he was about to do. He needed to keep reminding himself not to do the same thing again and again.

"I don't" he responded taking a step forward, his voice was cold.

Before she could react his one arm slipped around her waist while the other wrapped beneath her legs as he pulled her up in his arms.

"stop, put me down. I can walk myself" she wriggled in his hold pushing his chest with her palms but he chose to ignore her little efforts as he walked upstairs holding her in his arms.

"I can see" his tone was laced with sarcasm while he kept his focus ahead not meeting her eyes while she was looking at him with anger in her eyes.

"I want to get down. why don't you listen to me?" she kept struggling in his arms but it didn't bother him as he carried her to her room effortlessly.

Entering inside he walked up to her bed and leaned down making her sit on the bed. The moment his hold loosened around her, she kept her feet down as she stood up to run towards the door.

"Don't even try" holding her wrist from behind he pulled her back making her sit on the bed. Keeping his one leg on the bed beside her he held her jaw in his firm hold making her look at him.

"I am warning you. Stop testing my patience" his eyes were red, his gaze was dark, his voice was laced with anger as he breathed out those words making her eyes brim with another layer of tears as she looked at him disbelief.

Her tears made him avert his gaze as he left her jaw. Taking a step back he moved out of the room closing the door behind and locking it from outside.

He didn't need to do that because she couldn't go anywhere. He wouldn't let her go but he didn't want

her to think anything positive about him. Not anymore.

Sitting on the bed with tears rolling down her eyes she looked at the closed door feeling hopeless.

"uncle aap please fikar mat kariye. rooh didi mil jayengi jaldi hi. aap aise honsla mat haaro uncle" sitting on the couch beside raghuveer, ambar tried to assure him though her own eyes were moist. She was scared for rooh.

(Uncle, don't worry. rooh sister will be found soon. don't lose hope uncle)

With his head down, eyes dried with tears, raghuveer felt helpless, tired as he had been waiting for his daughter since hours. It was early morning and there was no clue about rooh's whereabouts.

"dadi, aap dono please aise himmat haar jayenge toh kaise chalega? mein aap dono ke liye thodi thodi chai bana ke le kar aati hun, thodi energy aayegi tabhi toh hum kuchh kar payenge na" holding kalyani's hand she pressed it as if assuring her who in return gave her a small smile while keeping her hand on Ambar's head.

(Grandma, if you two fall weak then how will things work? I'll go and make some tea for both of you. If we get some energy only then we will be able to do something)

Entering inside the kitchen ambar took out a pan keeping it on the stove. Switching it on she poured some water in the pan and started making tea.

"rooh didi, aap jahan bhi ho, rab ji karen aap theek hon aur jaldi se ghar aa jao wapis" wiping her tears she prayed to her God for rooh's safety.

(Rooh sister, wherever you are, I pray to God that you are fine and come back home quickly)

Ambar couldn't see the Malhotra family in trouble. This family especially rooh has given her a purpose to live, a new identity, a shelter to live, a kind of work that brings joy to her life every day.

Pouring the tea into two cups she put them in a tray and kept some biscuits in a plate adjusting it in the tray as well. Walking back into the living room she kept the tray on the table and passed a cup to kalyani.

"Khush reh, bache" kalyani held the cup from her but kept it back on the table not feeling like having anything.

(Stay happy, child)

"uncle, chai peelo thodi si, thoda achha lgega" ambar forwarded the cup towards him but raghuveer didn't respond anything making her keep the cup back in the tray as she took a seat beside him.

(Uncle, have some tea. You will feel better)

"uncle thodi si chai pee lijiye. dekho rooh didi toh mil hi jayengi na aur vo bhi boht jaldi mil jayengi toh jab vo aapko aise dekhengi toh unko kitna bura lgega. pta hai na aapko?" ambar's words made raghuveer look towards her.

(Uncle have some tea. Look rooh sister will be found for sure and that too very soon. When she sees you like this, how bad will she feel? You know already. Right?)

"mera sher, meri bachi mil jayegi na beta? haina?" raghuveer asked her like a child, his voice cracked, fresh tears formed in his eyes making her nod at him in urgency while tears brimmed in her eyes again.

(My lion, my child will be found soon. Right?)

His eyes looked tired, his face was drained of its colour, he looked defeated in that moment.

Footsteps echoed through the main door as Jaidev entered inside making raghuveer stand up from the couch as he moved towards him hastily.

"commissioner, what happened? did you find my daughter? tell me" raguveer asked him immediately while Jaidev looked down in defeat.

"I am sorry Mr. Malhotra. Our team has been working since night but we still have not gotten any clue about Ms. Malhotra. I am sorry for disappointing you but we will find your daughter soon" Jaidev tried to assure him though he knew his words would not help raghuveer.

"You have been saying the same thing since last night but you found nothing yet. I can no longer trust your team commissioner. I will go out myself and find my daughter" raghuveer's voice held disappointment, he was frustrated, worried, scared for his daughter as he moved towards the door.

"Mr. Malhotra please try to understand. Let police do its work. You still didn't get any call for ransom. Right?" Jaidev asked as he stopped raghuveer from going out of the Malhotra mansion.

"No, nothing. I am ready to give anything but please bring my daughter back" raghuveer felt defeated as it's been eight hours since rooh was kidnapped. He had no idea how his daughter might be and it scared him.

Jaidev was disappointed with himself as he walked out of Malhotra mansion. Frustration was evident on his face. Standing outside he dialed a number knowing this was the last option if he wanted this case to be solved sooner.

"Yes sir?" Viraj spoke from the other side who was handling the case from the ground level instructing his team.

"any update?" Jaidev inquired even though he knew the answer already.

"no sir, not yet" Viraj confirmed, disappointed evident in his tone.

"8 ghante ho gye hain abhi tak miss malhotra ka kuchh pta nhi chla hai sir, baat media tak pohnch gyi hai, ye case jaldi se jldi solve karna padega" viraj continued while Jaidev agreed to his words.

(It's been 8 hours sir and there is no clue about Ms. Malhotra. Now media is also involved. We have to solve this case as soon as possible"

"vo tumhara gunda dost hai na, Adhvay, karlo usse baat" Jaidev announced something that Viraj wanted to do since the start of this case.

(That goon friend of yours, Adhvay, talk to him)

Viraj knew Adhvay could help them to solve this case quickly but Jaidev would have never allowed to take his help. He didn't want to take help from a criminal but understanding the gravity of the situation he chose to keep his principles aside.

"Sir, are you serious? I mean are you sure?" Viraj was surprised listening to him as he didn't expect Jaidev to ask for help from Adhvay.

"Baat karle usse, agar ladki ko dhund sakta hai. aaj ke aaj ye case solve ho jana chahiye" without waiting for his response, Jaidev hung up the call.

(Talk to him if he can find the girl. This case should be solved today itself)

_______________________________

Laying on his stomach with his upper body bare Adhvay had his eyes closed. His one hand was under his face while the other hand was resting on the mattress near the pillow. He wasn't able to sleep even for a second.

Her eyes filled with tears kept flashing in his mind making him keep turning and twisting on the bed but sleep was far away from him. He never had a peaceful sleep in his life but her tears kept him restless like never before.

The mobile kept on the bedside table buzzed taking his attention. Stretching his arm he took the mobile, answered it without looking at the caller I'd and put it near his ear while his eyes were still closed.

"Hello, Adhvay?" a panicked voice came through the mobile making Adhvay open his eyes. His hand curled into fist as he has recognised who it was.

"Phone rakh tu" Adhvay disconnected the call before the other person could speak further. Keeping his head back on the pillow Adhvay closed his eyes but the mobile buzzed again irritating him.

(Hang up)

"Adhvay please phone mat kaatna. I am so sorry. Mujh se boht badi galti ho gyi. vo kal ek business party thi toh usme thodi zyadan pi li thi, mere dimag se hi nikal gya ke kal raat uss malhotra ki beti ko kidnap karna tha. please mujh se boht badi galti ho gyi" Daman Kapoor was panicked, scared as he tried to explain himself knowing well that Adhvay doesn't give second chances.

(Adhvay please don't hang up on me. I am so sorry. I have made a huge mistake. There was this business party so I had a little too much of a drink. I completely forgot about the kidnap of Malhotra's daughter. Please I have made a huge mistake.)

"Bkwas band kar apni. mein iss ladki ko aaj ghar chhor dunga" Adhvay responded, irritation laced in his tone making Daman curse himself for ruining things.

(Shut up. I will drop this girl at her home today. And dare you contact me ever again in life, I will kill you)

"Please Adhvay don't do this. badi mushkil se moka mila hai. Let me make Raghuveer sign these papers. Please tum abhi uss ladki ko mat chhorna, chaho toh mein aur paise dene ko tyaar hun" Daman spoke with urgency not wanting to lose this chance at any cost.

(Please Adhvay don't do this. I have just got this chance. Let me make Raghuveer sign these papers. Please don't leave that girl right now. If you want I am ready to give you more money)

"Jo karna hai kar, aaj raat tak ka time hai tere paas. Aur zindagi mein dubara mujhe contact karne ki koshish ki toh teri kabar khod dunga wahin" his voice was dangerously calm making daman gulp down his breath in fear.

Before he could respond Adhvay hung up the call throwing his mobile on the bed somewhere. Keeping his face back on the pillow he closed his eyes. His mind didn't stop thinking about her even for a second while the way he had behaved with her kept him restless every second.

A minute later his mobile buzzed again making him get up in frustration. He wanted to throw his mobile out of the window for getting on his nerves. Sitting straight he took his mobile and looked at the caller I'd.

It was Rana.

"Haan Rana, kya dikkat hai ab?" the frustration in his tone was evident. He didn't want to talk to anyone at that time.

(Yes Rana, what's the matter now?)

"bhai vo viraj baat karna chahta hai" Rana informed making Adhvay lay back on the bed, his face resting against the pillow with the mobile held on his ear.

(Bhai, Viraj wants to talk to you)

"Hmm" Adhvay agreed uninterested. He knew Viraj was handling this case with Jaidev so he chose to hear him once.

"theek hai bhai, mein conference call par leta hun usse" Rana added viraj on the call while Adhvay laid with his eyes closed, unbothered.

(Okay brother, let me put the call on conference)

"Hello, Adhvay, Viraj this side" Viraj started the conversation as soon as he was added into the call.

"Kya kaam hai?" Adhvay came on the point directly not wanting to waste his time in useless conversation.

(What's the matter?)

"Rooh Malhotra, businessman Raghuveer malhotra ki beti aur boht famous singer bhi hai, kal raat kidnap ho gyi hai. aaj ke aaj dhund sakte ho usse?" Viraj asked hopefully keeping the conversation short as Adhvay wanted.

(Rooh Malhotra, daughter of businessman Raghuveer Malhotra and she is a famous singer also, she had got kidnapped last night. Can you find her by today itself?)

"kyun tumhare Jaidev Pathak ne haar maan li?" Adhvay had a smirk tugging at his lips as he responded with a question.

(Why? Did your Jaidev Pathak accept defeat?)

"We have been trying to find her. It's been 8 hours now. Media mein bhi chali gyi hai khabar, we need to solve this case soon. I know you can find out who kidnapped her, where is she right now. Please help karde ek baar phir" Viraj responded, hope lingering in his tone.

"apne Jaidev sir ko bolde saari police hta de sadkon se, ladki raat tak apne ghar pohnch jayegi" Adhvay demanded, his tone was calm, his eyes were closed as he laid on his bed unbothered to get up and then talk.

(Tell your Jaidev sir to remove all Police from the roads. The girl will be at her home by tonight)

"Theek hai, mein baat karta hun sir se" Viraj agreed without questioning him.

(Alright, I will talk to sir)

Viraj didn't need to doubt his words. Adhvay's words were his promise. If he says so, he will do so. There should be no what ifs if one wants help from Adhvay.

Sitting in the living room Raghuveer was continuously looking towards the door waiting helplessly that his daughter would come running to him any minute.

Ambar was sitting beside him with her head low, her eyes were moist while kalyani was in her room praying in silence.

Raghuveer's mobile kept on the table buzzed taking their attention. Ambar took the mobile and passed it to Raghuveer. Raghuveer looked at the caller I'd and disconnected the call. He didn't want to talk to anyone at that time. His phone buzzed again making him answer it this time.

"Daman, abhi mein teri koi bakwas sunne ke mood mein nhi hun, phone mat kar baar baar" raguveer's tone was laced with frustration.

(Daman, I am not a mood to listen to your nonsense. Don't call me again and again)

"Arre Raghuveer ek baar sun toh le, kya pta meri baat sun kar tera mood hi theek ho jaaye" Daman responded from the other side, the evil tone of his could be heard clearly which made Raghuveer confused.

(Raghuveer at least listen to me once. Maybe your mood gets better after hearing me out)

"kya matlab hai tumhara?" Raghuveer questioned him with confusion lingering in his mind.

(What do you mean?)

"Rooh beti ke sath boht bura hua, dekha maine news mein, dukh hua sunn kar" Daman faked sympathy in his tone before a dark chuckle left his mouth.

"mein dua karunga ke tumhari beti ke sath kabhi aisa kuchh na ho" Raghuveer curled his hand into fist listening to daman laughing about his daughter's kidnap like a heartless human.

(I will pray that your daughter should never have to face anything like this ever)

"uske sath aisa nhi hoga kyunki mein kisi ke kaam mein tang nhi adata" daman spoke through gritted teeth while his words made raghuveer alert as he sat straight. His heart started beating fast as if he could guess that something was wrong.

(She will never face anything such because I don't interfere in anybody's work)

"kehna kya chah rahe ho daman? kya bol rahe ho?" raghuveer stood up from the couch, his voice raising as he paced in the living room.

(what do you want to say daman? what are you talking?)

"maine tujhe bola tha Raghuveer tu ye deal cancel karke theek nhi kar raha par tune meri baat nhi maani. teri wajah se mera kitna paisa fass gya hai, itna nuksaan ho raha hai toh thoda nuksaan toh tera bhi banta hai na?" Daman spoke evily making raghuveer understand the situation clearly now.

(I had warned you Raghuveer that you are not doing good by cancelling this deal but you didn't listen to me. I've got my money stuck in this project, I am facing so much loss so you should also deal with some loss, right?)

Daman was behind his daughter's kidnap. He didn't think that Daman could go this low just to get a deal done. He never thought of him to be this evil.

"Daman, ye tune-" Daman didn't let him complete his sentence.

"ab chilla chilla ke sab ko btane ki zaroorat nhi hai, mujhe pta hai ki tere ghar ke bahr police hai par police tak jaane ki galti mat karna, ek galti tu kar chuka hai deal cancel karke aur tune dekh hi liya uska result ab police ko bta ke dusri galti mat karna nhi teri beti jahan bhi hai zindagi mein tere paas wapis nhi aa payegi. chal ab apne kamre mein jaa kar baat kar" daman demanded, his words were threatening, his voice was laced with hatred making raghuveer think that he was dead serious about what he has said.

(Now no need to shout and let everyone know. I know there is police outside your home. don't make the mistake of telling this to the police. You have already made a mistake by backing off this deal now don't make another mistake by telling the police. Or else wherever your daughter is, she will never come back to you. nos go to your tell and talk to me alone)

Raghuveer didn't want to take a risk noticing how Daman was seething with hatred. He needed his daughter back all safe and he would not do anything that could cause her life a risk.

"uncle kya hua? aap aise ghabraye hue kyun lag rahe ho?" ambar asked noticing the pale face of raghuveer who was going towards thr stairs.

(Uncle what happened? Why are you looking so panicked?)

"ar.. arre vo kuchh nhi beta. Office se call aayi hai mein zra attend karke aata hun" raghuveer fumbled with his words before hurriedly moving towards the stairs not giving ambar another chance to question him.

Standing there with puzzled expressions ambar looked at her uncle's retreating figure in silence.

"Daman, tune meri beti ko kidnap kiya hai? Tu itna ghatiya insaan hai maine socha nhi tha. Kahan hai meri beti? Jaldi btaa kahan rakha hai meri bachi ko?" Raghuveer shouted over the call, anger was visible in his voice as he paced in his room in urgency. He just wanted his daughter back to him.

(Daman, did you kidnap my daughter? I never thought that you were such low of a character. where is my daughter? tell me fast where did you keep my daughter?)

"haan tu puchhega aur mein bta dunga aaram se, issliye hi toh kidnap kari hai teri beti..haina?" Daman laughed cruelly making raghuveer want to punch his face so hard that he wouldn't be able to laugh in his life ever again.

(Yeah you ask me and I will tell me so easily. That's why I kidnapped your daughter. Right?)

"kya chahiye tujhe? kyun kar ra hai ye sab?" Raghuveer asked in urgency wanting to get done with him as soon as he could so that he could get his daughter back.

(What do you want? Why are you doing this?)

"tujhe bhi pta hai mujhe kya chahiye. ye prject pura karwa de, sign karde ki jab tak ye mall ban nhi jata tu project bich mein nhi chhorega. Itna sa hi toh kaam hai phir teri beti tere paas" daman demanded making raghuveer hold his head, worry etched on his face.

(You also know what do I want. complete this project, sign the papers that you will not leave this project unfinished until the mall is constructed. That's all you have to do and your daughter will be with you)

"mat kar daman aisa, tujhe bhi pta hai jo tu kar raha hai vo kitna khatarnak ho sakta hai. you are using such low quality material for this construction. mein project pura karne ko tyaar hun par material high quality ka use karna hoga, material ka saara kharcha meri company utha legi, tu mat dena koi paisa par iss material ke sath ye mall nhi banna chahiye" raghuveer tried to make him understand voicing out his concern for the future.

(Don't do this Daman. You also know that what you are doing can be very dangerous. You are using such low quality material for this construction. I am ready to complete this project but the material should be of high quality. My company will manage all the expenses of material, you don't need to give any money but this construction should not be done with this material.)

Daman thought about it for a second before a cruel smirk made its way on his lips. He had gotten something to his benefit out of this suggestion of raghuveer.

"theek hai ab tum apna paisa barbaad karna chahte ho toh isme mujhe kya problem hogi. mere office aa jao, papers sign karo aur tumhari beti tumhare ghar pohnch jayegi. dubara bta raha hun police ko btane ka kuchh fayda nhi hoga, zyadan se zyadan police mujhe arrest kar legi par apna muh nhi kholunga. teri beti tere paas pohnchne nhi dunga yaad rakhna" daman warned him not wanting to take any chance of him revealing everything to Police.

(Okay, if you want to lose your money, why would I have a problem. come to my office. sign the documents and your daughter will be at your home. I am warning you again. There is no use of telling the police. All they can do is arrest me but I will not open my mouth. I will not let your daughter come back to you. Remember this)

"theek hai, aa raha hun" raghuveer agreed without any argument. All he wanted was his daughter's safe return to her home.

(Alright, I am coming)
